Chota Rec Center Room A
Room A at the Chota Center is available to artists of all mediums. There is a kitchen for water, a locked art closet if items need to be stored for future use, tablecloths, a bookcase of art books and a light box for tracing. Use of the room is not scheduled through Larissa, a Chota Center employee. Individuals and groups must coordinate among themselves. Questions about availability should be directed to Laura Hersh at firstname.lastname@example.org or 630-649-8020.
The schedule for the 2019-2020 is as follows:
Second Mondays: Chota Room A is available to all AGTV members on the second Monday of the month from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Reservations are not necessary. During this time the room may be used by individuals to work on watercolor, pencil, oil, and acrylic projects. Members may complete projects there and use the light table for tracing. Chota can handle several independent groups at one time. Groups can be formed to meet at Chota to collectively complete unfinished projects, hold a meeting for a future workshop or art class, or one on one consultation of art work. Groups will need to communicate among themselves to coordinate schedules.
Tuesdays and Fridays: Room A is also available on most Tuesdays and Fridays, except when classes or workshops are scheduled.
First Thursday, Friday and Saturday of Month: Room A is available on the first Thursday, Friday and Saturday of the month for classes and workshops.
