Lee Edge - Drawing and Watercolor
Lee holds degrees in art from Moore College of Art and Design and Tyler School of Fine Arts, Temple University. Lee has over 30 years of teaching experience teaching advanced placement art. Lee was named the Ohio Outstanding Art teacher and was a three time recipient of the Virginia Governors School Outstanding Teacher Award. Locally, Lee has taught in Tellico Village, Rarity Bay and at Lakewood Place for the past seven years.
Lee's paintings have been included in a juried exhibit at the Denver Art Museum, have toured the contingent Rocky Mountain States, and have been shown in Nebraska, South Dakota, Pennsylvania, and Tennessee. Lee's etching and gouache collage received top awards in the National Wind River Competition. Lee's commissioned portraits, woodcut prints and paintings are privately owned throughout the USA.
More recent prizes were awarded by
the Tennessee Watercolor Society (2012 and 2014), The Fountain City Art Center (2 best of shows, etc.), and The Morristown Art Assn.
In 2015 paintings were juried into a national exhibit sponsored by The Arts and Cultural Alliance of Knoxville in Feb. 2015, and The (18 state) Southern Watercolor Society Exhibition held in Clarksville, TN. in May 2015. Lee’s paintings have been exhibited in several shows in 2015 sponsored by the Knoxville Watercolor Society. Lee has been serving as the Region IV Rep for the TnWS, preparing for the events in Knoxville, May 2016.
Dennis Sabo - Digital Photography
Dennis Sabo is an internationally award winning photographer specializing in contemporary fine art abstract, landscape,and seascape photography. His fine art prints interweave his creative compositional expressions and vivid colors into nature's greater scheme of things.
His artwork and photography have appeared in a variety of books and magazines that include Canon, NOVA, PBS, Living Southern Style, Hilton Hotels, NBC, Ocean Conservancy, Shedd Aquarium-Chicago, and Blue Planet.

Jack Retterer - Digital Photography
Jack has been involved with photography for over 50 years. Initially he developed his skills through extensive self-study. Eventually, he was able to take night classes at the Chicago School of Photography. Jack explains that his greatest learning experience came after he retired from IBM and began to teach photography classes at Benedictine University in Naperville, Illinois. Prior to moving to East Tennessee Jack received numerous awards for his photography, including several Best in Show awards at several Northern Illinois photography competitions.
One of his most recent awards in East Tennessee was to have one of his works selected to be part of the Arts at the Airport at McGee Tyson Airport. He has also had his work selected for display for 3 months at The Venue in Lenoir City, the Loudon County Visitors’ Center and offices of Knoxville City Mayor and the Knox County Mayor. He has also been asked to return for future exhibitions at the Loudon County Visitors’ Center and The Venue in Lenoir City.
In 2020, Jack is already scheduled to teach photography classes for the Loudon Parks and Recreation Department, the Knoxville Arts and Fine Crafts Center, the Harriman Parks Department and the Kingston Parks and Recreation Department. Laurie Szilvagyi - Drawing, Watercolor and Oil Painting
Laurie Szilvagyi is a graduate of the University of Texas at Dallas and is a member of the International Guild of Realism and Signature Member of the Tennessee Watercolor Society. She has been dedicated to drawing, watercolor and oil painting. Her work has been recognized in national and international watercolor exhibits where she has received numerous awards and presented with the Grumbacher Gold Medallion. Laurie was the President of the Tellico Art Guild for two years where she shared her STRETCH philosophy through Learning Labs and a variety of workshops. Over the past ten years, Laurie has been teaching drawing, oil painting and watercolor workshops in Tennessee since retiring from a fifteen-year business career. Laurie's teaching style is fun and expressive with written exercises and a formal presentation. Laurie demonstrates the same professionalism in her art workshops as she did as a Certified Management Consultant leading large system change projects for a major utility in Michigan.
