2015 AGTV Mural Project

Member artists of the Art Guild of Tellico Village have completed a mural for the Family Court Services of East Tennessee (FCSET). The mural represents “New Beginnings” for the recipients of services ranging from domestic violence women’s support groups, parenting classes for divorced parents, batterer’s intervention programs, court advocacy, and supervised visitations. FCSET is a non-profit organization serving Monroe, McMinn and Bradley counties strengthening the community one family at a time.
Pictured with the mural are Betsy Miller, FCSET Executive Director and Kate Sloan, FCSET Volunteer.

Kathy Simms led the mural effort with Lil Clinard and Kathy Kutschera on her team. “It’s great to have the opportunity to give back to the community, and it was a lot of fun,” Clinard remarked. The Executive Director of the FCSET, Betsy Miller said, “Thank you so much for all your hard work. Everyone who comes in absolutely loves it.”
